(Therapeutic Crisis Intervention)

Information for Trainees
Initial 4 Day and 1Day Refresher Courses

Prior to your training date you are asked to go to the Website and review Jeff Moore's PowerPoint presentation (the link directly above this one on the website). Also please plan to study any additional study guides and notes you have from previous classes. This will help you on the written test.

The trainings begin at 8:30 and conclude before 2:30 in room 22 at the Central Office Annex. Total attendance is necessary for certification. We request that you keep cell phones, beepers, etc. on vibrate and check them at the breaks provided periodically throughout the day. You might consider bringing a snack. Vending machines are not available.

Due to the nature of the training, your active participation is essential. Physical interventions will be practiced and tested. Please wear casual clothes and tennis shoes. Sandals, open-toed shoes, clogs, flipflops or dress shoes are not appropriate. It is a safety issue to also train barefoot.

You will receive your certificate within a week of training.
